Sun is rising higher
Daylight getting brighter
There is so much left I must get done
Stitching for the canvas
Roping for the wing flaps
Slowly building up my flight machine
So many others only look down on me
But one day I will soar above them all
All this work confounding
Stuck here on the grounding
But I have a feeling it will not be that long
Finished all the repairs

Time to take a path up to the sky

I've always had a fascination
with underwater things
Urchins stars and coral reefs
have long been my playmates
Today I'm going deeper
Beyond Celestia's Sun
Oh what I find i do not know
But still I voyage on
Yes still I voyage on
Sights are getting stranger here the deeper that I get
I'm quite surprised that such strange life can actually exist
My underwater spaceship takes me places never been
And I cannot help but feel that maybe I'm the alien
They said that I was crazy
to go so deep so far
but when you've seen what I have
it isn't so bizarre
Down in the deep blue darkness
New lights come into view
The lights are creatures themselves
and I am glowing too
(what?! I'm glowing!?)
Sights are getting stranger here the deeper that I get
I'm quite surprised that such strange life can actually exist
My underwater spaceship takes me places never been
And I cannot help but feel that maybe I'm the alien
I'm sailing 'cross the stars far into the unknown
Through underwater galaxies I travel now alone
I'm running out of fuel, but I'm not worried at all
for I have found a special place
A place that I call home

Sights are strangely familiar the deeper that I go
I'm quite surprised that such strange life is actually my own
My underwater spaceship takes me where I do belong
And I cannot help but feel that this is where I find my home

A lovely maiden of flaxen hair
her eyes so sweet with love to spare
I know I must leave to answer the call
But still I find I must tarry
With heart we train, our strength we gain
To save both valley and homestead
We can’t turn tail, we must not fail
The battle looms on the horizon!
The bitter war comes all too soon
And as we join the front platoon
A gruesome creature stood fiendishly tall
And dared all who heard to battle
“Your bodies are weak and oh so small
You are no threat to me at all
But just to show my power and might
I challenge any one of you to battle
Should you succeed my horde will withdraw
But when you fail I will take it all
My talons will bite through armor and hide
There is no escape, your valley is mine”
The fearsome beast, he taunted us all
For none would move to answer the call
With spear in hand and rock-set jaw
I know I must cannot falter
The glint of steel, the swipe of claw
My spear deflected, I felt my fall
But in his pride he opened his side
And there I thrust my sword
The sun will rise, our enemies flee
